What is the make and model number of your TV?
What type of wireless security is your router using?
What is the distance between the router and the TV?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

My router is a DSL2680

the television is a Toshiba regza no. 32AV1381

The router is connected to the tevision through two black boxes

on the main electrical circuit

the router is 4 meters from the television.

Hi Brian,
Ok, so you are using Powerline adapters on your electrical circuit to connect the TV to the router..
Is it an old house with old wiring? Approximately when was the house built?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

house was built in 1958

Ok, that likely explains the problem with the powerline adapters.
They do not work well in older properties.
You will need to either run a cable directly from the router to the TV, or try using a wireless connection.
