our emote control has stopped working and I cannot switch the tv on except by plugging it in to the mains supple. I cannot change the volume or channel. It is only 8 months old and I have inserted new batteries. If I try to adjust the sound or change channel I get a message saying not available. Should I order a new remote, I have carefully read the manual but it is not helping me

Apologies - I had to go out and as you did not answer my question I rang Samsung and they sorted it out for me. My husband is disabled and I had to sort out this problem in a hurry as I had to take him for a Doctors appointment and I would like a cancellation of the payment of £28,00 which you took from his credit card this morning please as you were unable to help.
