Was this card or any card working previously on this camera?

What's the size of all the memory cards, such as 512MB, 1GB, 2GB, 4GB, 8GB, etc.?

If a memory card was working previously on this camera, what's the size of that memory card?

My camera is Nikon "Coolpix" L830 .

New Card is 32GB previously it was16GB and that was okay until it also showed that this card cannot be read I rightly or wrongly assumed I had used up all memory consequently I purchased new card.

I am not used to this camera bought it new two weeks ago.

Have you gone to the setting on the camera, and format the memory card first, then see if you can use it?

(With memory card inserted into the camera, press Menu button, then go to the wrench menu icon, then go to the option Format memory/Format card, then press OK, and confirm.)
