Hello there,

I've been working hard to find a Professional to assist you with your question, but sometimes finding the right Professional can take a little longer than expected.

I wonder whether you're ok with continuing to wait for an answer. If you are, please let me know and I will continue my search. If not, feel free to let me know and I will cancel this question for you.

Please note, I am just a moderator for this category, I can only try and find experts to help, I can't answer the question itself.

Thank you!

Thank you for using Just Answer my name is ***** ***** I will help with your question.
I am sorry but it sounds like either the software inside the unit has become corrupt and it stopping the unit functioning correctly or one of the electronic boards in the unit has failed and on a small unit it would not be cost effective in getting it repaired.
The only thing I can suggest to try is to clear the units memory and reset it.
1 Press the ON/STAND-BY button to enter the stand-by mode.
2 Whilst pressing down the MENU button and the PRESET 4 button,
press the ON/STAND-BY button until "All clear ok?" appears.
3 Within 30 seconds, press the ENTER button.
"Complete" appears and the memory is cleared.

Thank you for your advice. It would seem after trying your suggestions that your first thought is probably correct! It's recyling for this radio, I've tried and failed!

My husband bought it about three years ago, it's never been much cop.

My usband has now died and I have no more patience with it

Thank you for trying to help!!

Hi Rosemary,
I am sorry to hear it has not worked, I am unable to suggest anything else to try.
I hate having to say the item is not worth repairing as I run a company repairing and recycling electronics to try and save stuff from the landfill, but in this case I am afraid it is not worth repairing.
