It is a sound machine that allows you to make a huge amount of sounds, batching up 15 at one time.
There are 7 films that will show you exactly how its used which you can view here
And you can review the user manual here
In effect its a very powerful drum machine for professional sounds.
If you would like any additional information or assistance, please do not hesitate to let me know.
And if you can take a second to rate my service, that would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Hi your email was very helpful.I am still not clear on how to programme the Roland HPD-15 with my own made up beats.I can get it to record but it stops rather than playing a continuous beat.Thankyou,Alexander.
If you mean to repeat the beat, you use the Roll function.
Like Page 9 on the manual here
Is this what you are referring to?

Hi I can record a beat but when I play it back it contains a short pause in the middle, then starts playing again. From Alexander.
It sounds like this is the pause from the start, you need to make sure that you start the beat immediately when starting the recording and end it straight after the last beat else you will get this pause.
