Hello, my name is***** be happy to assist you.
Please allow me to ask you a few questions to diagnose the problem.
- Does power indicator on TV turn On or blink?
- How old is the TV and how long it have had the problem?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

the power indicator is completely dead I have the tv for about six years

OK, do you have multimeter and can check fuse F201 and F202 on power supply board?
Also, can check standby 5V DC at connector P6 pin-22 ?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

I checked the fuse with a multimeter also tried two other power cords

OK, can you please check standby 5V DC with multimeter at pin-22 of P6 connector on power supply board?
This way we are checking power supply board.

thanks for your info but I do not know enough about tvs to do that

- Can you get me the model number off of your multimeter?
This will help me to assist you to do volt check.
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

tte model number wg 020 Ihave had experience in ham not enough to

tamper with tvs

Thanks Peter for the info, it seems power supply board has got internal failure, this board would be located on top right of rear of TV and calls PSS board that need to be replaced as this type of board isn't suppose to be repaired on component level nor manufacturer recommend it to maintain the product quality and hopefully PSS board replacement will help to resolve the problem.
Please remove back cover of TV and get the part number off of PSS board, (easy way is to follow AC power cord going into TV and it will plugged in PSS board) and search/ google the part number to get price and stock info to order it if trying to repair the TV yourself and if feel uncomfortable then local TV tech will do this for you.
I'm sorry there is no easy or quick fix for this problem and it is definitely hardware failure that needs defective board replacement to resolve the issue. I trust my input will help you out to make decision about this TV repair or invest that money on new replacement TV. Please feel free to respond if you have any additional questions.
