There is no ESP .2 printer, do you mean 3.2?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

`Hello and thank you fpr getting in touch.

My printer is a Kodak ESP.2s The printhead in the printer is defective and will not print. Further, I cannot remove it in order to insert a replacement. As you know it should come out under finger pressure. That does not happen. That is the issue.

Thanks Jack
I think though you missed my question, there is no Kodak ESP.2s
You mean ESP 3.2?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

I have looked at the cover lid. On the left hand outer edge it states quite clearly Kodak ESP3.2s. The machine was supplied to me by Kodak as was the new printhead

ok, so it is 3.2 as you have been saying .2
The instructions to replace the printhead are as specified here

As there is a button you first need to push Jack.
Let me know the results please
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

I have now pressed the button as suggested. There has been no response

So when you press it and lift, what then happens Jack?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

Nothing happens. The button does not move nor does pressing it result in the ink cartridge casing easing enough to come out, if I make myself clear

You are Jack. It seems the printhead has completely warped.
It will also have warped the railing it runs on.
I am really sorry about this and you are going to have to return the printer to have this replaced (they will likely replace the entire printer as it will be cheaper). It will be covered by the warranty if this has not expired, and the replacement will be done at no cost to you.
I am really sorry about this, and if you have problems, or would like any additional information or assistance, please do not hesitate to let me know.
And if you can take a second to rate my service, that would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
