The only way to remove the password ***** ***** reset the Galaxy. This will remove all data and content and return it to new, but this you cannot avoid.
To do the reset please do the following steps.
Press and hold the Power button until the Device options screen appears.
Select Power off.
Select OK.
Press and hold the Volume up button then press and hold the Power button.
When the Samsung logo appears, release all.
Select wipe data/factory reset. (Use the Volume buttons to highlight and the Power button to select.)
Select Yes -- delete all user data.
Select reboot system now.
Allow several minutes for the reboot process to complete.
It will then be reset and you can then setup the Tab to use it again.
