i have no picture.the menu for channels comes up for a bout 2secs then disappears.
I can't get to the menu to do a full scan & setup.

Please allow me to ask you a few questions to diagnose the problem.
- How old is the TV and how long it have had the problem?
- Please grab a good flashlight and shine it on TV screen bit closely while TV is powered On and push menu button, do you see/observe any faint image inside screen?

Hi its about 10yrs old .problem started yesterday..
i do have a picture if i connect dvd and or wii.
when i press the menu button on the side of the tv, it dispalys but only for a second or so

OK, did you try flashlight test to see if faint menu screen visible inside screen?

hi. the image is like normal, no need for a flashlight. it just doesn't stay visible for long enough to scroll through then menu

ah OK, so screen doesn't go dark but menu options quickly disappear, is this correct?if so, have you checked control buttons on TV itself as one might be sticky and causing the problem?
