who supplies your TV signal?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

I honestly don't know, as far as I'm concerned it appears out of the ether.

ok, makes it hard as there are many providers. Are you able to press the [SUB] button on your remote control or by pressing the YouView button then going to Settings > Subtitles & Accessibility > Subtitles.
And turn it off there?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

You're going to love me first what is the sub button, and then where will I find settings etc.

Its a button on one of your remotes with SUB on it.
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

my top 2 buttons are power and scource

But we are just guessing here Melvyn.
I need to know which TV provider you have in order to fix this.
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

Do you mean where the signal is coming from, if so I think it is Oxford

No, which company. Skyt, BT, TalkTalk, who do you pay for this
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

Customer: replied 2 years ago.

The remote I have has a power scource at the top left hand corner, I use this to switch on and then choose the required programmes.

Customer: replied 2 years ago.

Customer: replied 2 years ago.

Curries, they weren't any help with basic intructions they only sell them

its not the right model, can you check the actual TV for it
Richard and other Electronics Specialists are ready to help you
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

The info I have recorded took off the back of the model

i.e. LE32D400E1W.

I feel that we are up against a brick wall, and should forget about

it. You can't win them all. anyway thanks for your efforts, I will have to try elsewhere

ok, view the manual for this TV here
You are saying you cannot access the Subtitles as it specifies in the manual Melvyn?
It has no page numbers but is about halfway down.
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

I went back to "menu" and started at the top and worked my way down.

Some success, I have been able to delete the graphics, but to date I haven't

removed the verbals " he looks and smiles" etc.

Did you check the manual I provided Melvyn? And bout halfway down you see subtitles
