Whats the problem?
Hi there
Is there any sign of life from the printer at all?
Have you checked the fuse in the plug? If it has blown, fit a replacement.
Do you have a voltmeter available to carry out tests, if required?

Pete, as stated in original question the lead worked on a radio so its OK, there is no sign of life at all on the printer. I do not have a voltmeter.

The fault is inside the printer, how do I take the cover of the printer to check for any wire breakage if required?

Hi John,
To remove the cover from the printer, first undo all the screws, then in the bottom and side areas there are plastic locks that you need to push gently using a flat screw driver to release them.
