Hi there and welcome

Can you please hold the power and volume up button for 6 seconds then release.

Does it then come on?

Please let me know.

ok, can you hold the power button down for 60 seconds then release.

Then connect the charger

Then hold volume DOWN and power

Does it then start?

no. I don't know what happened. I was looking at a toy site, walked away for a minute, when I came back screen was blank. no battery showing when charger plugged in. its like it has just died.

It has sorry

It is the internal mainboard that has faulted, this confirms it now.

I am really sorry about this and you are going to have to return the phone to have this replaced. It will be covered by the warranty if this has not expired, and the replacement will be done at no cost to you.

I am really sorry about this, and if you have problems, or would like any additional information or assistance, please do not hesitate to let me know.

And if you can take a second to rate my service by clicking one of the stars at the top of the page, then submit, that would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

ok right that's not good. will I be able to recover anything on it?

No sorry, with no power the memory cannot be read. By default though your contacts are saved online, and if you enabled backups your photos to which you would access when you set up your new phone with the same Gmail account

you can also check for any photos backed up here
