Thank you, I replied to you that I do not have a power button on the TV set

What is the model of the TV?

Customer: replied 6 months ago.
It is a Sony Bravia, that is all I know

Please check on the back of the TV, you will see the model there.

I have waited 10 minutes, reconnected to the power switched on , the green light came on for 15 seconds and reverted to the red light intermitantly. no change really

ok, disconnect all cables from the TV, so from cable box, DVD player ect.

then connect only the power cable and power it on

Tell me how it then starts

Customer: replied 6 months ago.
Thank you I have disconnected everything switched the tv on and there is no change just the intermittent red light. I cannot now switch the set off at the remote, i have to un plug the set

When it blinks, how many times in sequence does it blink?

Customer: replied 6 months ago.
6 times

Thanks

It is the internal powerboard that has faulted, this now confirms it
