can this camera be repaired it was only in the water for a short while there is no damaged to the outside at all.

Or where could I send it for repair?

If I switch it on nothing happens the green light comes on but thats all.

Can you remove the battery please then hold the shutter button down for 60 seconds then release.

Wait 5 minutes, put the battery back in and try to turn it on.

Tell me please if it now starts

Have charged battery but still does not work.
Only the light works.

Ok, a repair outside of warranty for this issue will not be feasible as the cost for a mainboard would exceed the value of a replacement camera.

Is the camera though under warranty?

ok, you will need to replace the camera, if you really want to have it repaired, tell me your postcode and I'll locate a place for you but I can promise you it would be more expensive then replacing it.
