why do I get green power on light flashing and no on/off switch facility
JA: What's the brand and model of your product?
Customer: Toshi24db143db
JA: What have you tried so far?
Customer: leaving power off at wall for hours, every conceivable button combination. I have not tried hitting - yet
JA: Anything else you want the Electronics Expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: How do I get the thing back on line?

Hi there and welcome

Can you tell me how many times the light is flashing in sequence?

Thank you

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
about one per second

Disconnect everything from the TV then only connect the power cable and nothing else

then turn it on

Tell me what then happens please

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
since there is only the antenna lead connected is that relevant
Customer: replied 2 months ago.
no differance

Please disconnect it to rule out an issue with the antenna port

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
no difference with it disconnected

Thanks

It is the mainboard that has faulted.

I am really sorry about this and you are going to have to return the TV to have this replaced. It will be covered by the warranty if this has not expired, and the replacement will be done at no cost to you.

I am really sorry about this, and if you have problems, or would like any additional information or assistance, please do not hesitate to let me know.

And if you can take a second to rate my service by clicking one of the stars at the top of the page, then submit, that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your help. I think the set is due for a visit to the local skip. The cost of repair will be greater than a replacement
