This issue came after a recent Moto Display's update affecting Android 8.0 devices. Until any new update comes to resolve this issue, you may uninstall the update and wait for new version or you can disable Moto Display completely until the new version is available on the store.

To Disable Moto Display

  1. Open the Moto app
  2. Tap on Display
  3. On the Peek Display screen toggle it off.

Yes you will get the notifications. It will just resolve this issue
