I have a Brother HL-225ODN Network printer. It is not printing from my computer. The Error light is not illuminating or showing red/orange when I wish to print. How can I fix this please?
JA: Is your printer displaying the error on all print jobs, even after you restart it?
Customer: Yes
JA: When did you last update the printer driver software?
Customer: I cannot say. It is my daughter's and she was using it until quite recently.
JA: Anything else you want the Printer Expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: Nothing else. I would be most grateful to hear from the Print Expert. Thank you.

Thank you for your question, my name is ***** ***** I look forward to assisting you.

Please note, a rating is only needed when we are finished.

Can you please remove the power to the printer (so unplug it from the power socket).

Then wait 10 minutes, connect the power again to the printer, turn it on and tell me please if it is now operating correctly.

Let me know the results please

Dear *****,
Following our telephone call the printer is still not working. I have replaced the toner. The "error" button is still not showing yellow, or is red/orange. Perhaps you could suggest something else, or speak to me again on 07971 628472. Many thanks, Kenneth

if you put a different toner in, does that work?
