Hi
JA: Hi. How can I help?
Customer: Hi. I have a Panasonics LCD TV Model TX-L24X5B and we cannot get power to turn on. We have changed the fuse in the plug and checked the socket works. What can we do please.
JA: Is your TX-L24X5B connected to a surge protector or power strip?
Customer: Err No.
JA: Have you tried to power reset your TV (unplugging the power for 1-2 minutes, then plugging it back in)?
Customer: Yes indeed. In fact I left it pff for about 0 minutes off
JA: Anything else you want the TV Expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: Can't think of anything
Customer: replied 4 months ago.
That should be 10 minutes off of course. How long please?

Hello,

Does the standby light come on at all?

Have you tried pressing the power button on the TV?

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
No light and yes to the power button. Held it for 10 seconds.

If there is no light then the TV has an internal electrical fault.

Do you plan on carrying out the electrical repairs yourself, or are you looking for a repair estimate?

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
I’ll sort it myself. Thank you very much.

Ok, can you let me know what electronic test equipment you have available so I can assist you with this?
