Customer: sorry to bother you but my computer is driving me mad.
Assistant: What's the brand and model of your product?
Customer: it is stuck on a grey screen with a blue circle I am trying to go back to settings it was on before I started to download windows 10

I’m sorry to hear you're having trouble. I know that can be frustrating. Hopefully, we can get this resolved quickly.
Please disconnect the power cable to the computer then hold the power button in for 60 seconds then release.
Then connect the power cable, power it on and tell me how it now functions.

It was fine until I tried to do upside to windows 10 I just want to get back to windows 8.1

I do not see any devices called that, which brand is it? eg: HP, Dell?

Sorry yes but once signed in jumps to grey screen with blue circle


On the password ***** hold the SHIFT key on the keyboard and with it held down, click on the power icon on the screen then restart.

Keep shift held down until it has restarted and your at a menu.

Choose from this menu, Troubleshoot, then Reset My PC.

You will have to choose to keep your files.

Let this complete and once it has, you will need to setup your computer again just like when you first received it.
