My Samsung tv won’t update software. I’ve tried to get on My5 milkshake, it tells me I am on an old version and need to update to the latest version app from the store yet the apps on the tv don’t seem to have it. What can I do to get it??

Customer: i don’t know what OS the tv is
Assistant: When did you last update your software?
Customer: tonight. It wouldn’t update

Try following these steps please:

Select "Settings"
Select "Support"
Select "Software Update"
Select "Update Now"
Then follow the on-screen prompts to update your TV's software
Once you have completed these steps you should find that the above message no longer appears.

I’ve done all that! I get a code 800 resource error.

Try going directly to Samsungs website and the support page for your TV and see what version they have there for download. You can then install it from a USB stick.
