Hi there and welcome to Just Answer, my name is ***** ***** I look forward to helping you.

I’m sorry to hear you're having trouble with your phone. I know that can be frustrating. Hopefully, we can get this resolved quickly.

Please remove the power to the base unit and the batteries from the handset
Then wait 10 minutes, connect the power to the base unit, put the batteries in the handset and tell me if it then functions correctly.
Please let me know the results
Thank you

Richard,
I was asked to set date and time on my Panasonic, after you asked me to switch off the base unit.
I clicked Set and nothing happened. I try to change the date I’m given, but it reverts to Telephone.
George.

On the phone, go to Menu>#226>Manual>Off

Then set it

Let me know how you go please

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
You wrote, I assume, p.226 in the Manual, but the Manual I have only goes to p.75
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I think my machine is too old for Set not to work.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I have clicked on Menu, and I have set date and time. Unfortunately, I didn’t notice the year and it has been left at 2006. How do I go back, so I can correct it?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
PM, which I forgot.
