hi I was hoping you maybe able to help me, my printer has stopped working , I found out it only works on 2.4gb. I was advised to change it to 5gb because i have 5 devices ,, could this be the cause of printer problem ???
JA: How are you connecting to your printer: wirelessly or by USB?

JA: When did you last update the printer driver software?
Customer: unknown. ive been trying to resolve the problem all evening ((((

If the printer only works on 2.4GHz then you will need to either enable the 2.4GHz network, or use a USB cable to connect the printer.

If you are already using a USB connection then it does not matter what wifi frequency you are using.

Try restarting all equipment, including your printer, computer, router, etc. and let me know if that works.
