i cant connect my tv to skyQ
JA: What's the brand and model number of your TV? How old is it?
Customer: sony vayo, 15 yrs old, my samsung tv packed up and i was using this tv in a spare room with my second sky box
JA: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?
Customer: tv menue works, it wont connect via the two HDMI ports
JA: How long has this been an issue with your Samsung? What happened right before this?
Customer: the samsung packed up a few weeks ago, i could connect the main sky q to the tv so i moved the small sky box into the loung and watched it via that, I have today received a new router and the small box wont connect. I have then tried to connect the skyq main box
JA: Anything else you want the TV Expert to know before I connect you?

I’m sorry to hear you're having trouble with your TV. I know that can be frustrating. Hopefully, we can get this resolved quickly.

Please note, a rating is only needed when we are finished.

Can you please remove the power to the TV and any other devices connecting to the TV such as a cable box ect (so unplug it from the power socket).

Then wait 10 minutes, connect the power again to the TV and connecting devices, turn it on and tell me please if it is now operating correctly.

I’ve switched it all back on, it said the sky box would take a few minutes.... but is still not working

Ok.. then please press the input or source button on the remote for the TV until you see the image from the Skybox

It is the Skybox then that has faulted.

I am really sorry about this and you are going to have to return the box to have it replaced. It will be covered by the warranty if this has not expired, and the replacement will be done at no cost to you.
