My new headphones MDR-EX110AP are not working in my Sony

This answer was rated:

My new headphones MDR-EX110AP are not working in my Sony Experia L1 android phone.
JA: What's the brand and model of your Android phone?
Customer: Experia L1
JA: How long has this been going on with your smartphone? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I had a previous set of Sony headphones which ceased to work and my phone said they were not supported on my phone and I should get another headset but they are also unsupported.
JA: Anything else you want the Smartphone Expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: The left earbud seems ok but there is no sound from the right bud.

My conversation with the other technician is at the top of this screen. Don’t know if you can see it.

Are other headphones working on the phone?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I am seeing your messages Richard but you seemed to think my problem was that my phone was not working. Maybe I’m misunderstanding. If I am I apologise.
