I have a new Fire but don't seem to be able to register it
JA: What's the brand and model of your product?
Customer: Kindle Fire
JA: What have you tried so far with your Amazon product?
Customer: I have two old kindles and an old password ***** these do not work. I have tried a new password ***** not sure if I copied it down right in my book
JA: Anything else you want the Electronics Expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: I just want to register my new kindle and be able to download stuff on to it

To register your Fire device:

  1. Access the quick settings menu by swiping down from the top of the screen
  2. Tap Settings icon
  3. Tap My Account
  4. Tap Register

Enter your Amazon account details - if it doesn't work, check if you can still log in at www.amazon.co.uk on your computer using the same details.
