Cannot get into my Samsung A I have swiped across then put in my pattern password ***** then tells me to wait and try again after 29 seconds it has been doing this since this afternoon
JA: When did you last change the password ***** passcode to your Galaxy Tab?
Customer: Would that be my Google password

  1. Ensure the device is powered off.
  2. Press and hold the Volume Up and Power buttons.
  3. Continue to hold Volume Up and Power buttons until the Android Recovery screen appears (about 10-15 seconds) then release both buttons.
    A blue screen with "Installing system update" may display, followed by a screen with "No command"; continue to wait until the recovery screen appears.
  4. From the Android Recovery screen, select Wipe data/factory reset.
    Use the Volume buttons to cycle through available options and the Power button to select.
  5. Select Yes.
    Allow several seconds for the factory data reset to complete.
  6. Select Reboot system now.
    Allow several minutes for the reboot process to complete.
