Installed black and colour cartridges - printed alignment page but error after that - blue light on.
JA: Did you remove all the tape from the cartridge vent holes? (The tape is usually yellow or some other color.)
Customer: I'll check
JA: The last time you changed your cartridges, did you replace them with new ones or refill the old ones?
Customer: No tape on cartridges - they're recycled

Remove all of the ink cartridges then insert them back into the carriage and close the lid


With the printer powered on, remove the power cord from the back.

Wait 2 minutes

Plug back in the power cord and power it on
