Please disconnect the power cable to the computer then hold the power button in for 60 seconds then release.
Then connect the power cable, power it on and tell me how it now functions.
Please let me know the results.
Thank you

ok I've done that, but the computer still isn't charging
Expert:  Richard replied 7 days ago.

What percentage is the battery at?

Customer: replied 7 days ago.
67%, It's plugged in. The battery isn't depleting but it isn't charging either
Expert:  Richard replied 7 days ago.

Ok, the error you gave is that the CPU exceeds the heat limit

Power off the computer then vacuum out via the air vents, leave it for an hour then try to use it please

Customer: replied 7 days ago.
I have a laptop though; the error code doesn't show me anything with the cpu, it shows me the following: "Your battery is not supported. Using an incompatible battery or a third party battery may increase the risk of fire and explosion". What's weird is that I never changed or touched my laptop battery
Expert:  Richard replied 7 days ago.

ok, the error code you put here refers to CPU temperature but if it says this about the battery it points to the battery as faulting, or the motherboard

Is it still under warranty?

Customer: replied 7 days ago.
no, the warranty ran out
Expert:  Richard replied 7 days ago.

What is the full model of the Laptop?

Customer: replied 7 days ago.
