Can you please press the input or source button on the remote for the TV until you see the signal from sky.

We can get into Netflix using the Sony remote but seems to be locked as not playing anything

Can you please remove the power to the TV and any other devices connecting to the TV such as a cable box, wifi router ect (so unplug it from the power socket).

Then wait 10 minutes, connect the power again to the TV and connecting devices, turn it on and tell me please if it is now operating correctly.

We have tried this multiple times with no result. How do we "read" the Sky box?

Should be HDMI 2 showing as usual but will not scroll onto it now - only HDMI ARC3 (VIDEO CHANNEL) OR HDMI3 - SWITCHED OFF WIFI AND TV AND SKY BOX FOR THE MOMENT. Will turn on again in 8 mins and confirm all

all turned back on and everything just as we said before HDMI 3/ARC- Recorder and we cannot change it.

Can you connect the Skybox to a different TV and tell me if it works on that TV

It looks like the Skybox has faulted, so we need to rule this out.

If you connect something else to the TV, does that display? such as a DVD player?

dvd operates ok but is stuck on this recording channel
