My Samsung S10 phone is not restarting properly. it is

Customer Question

hello my Samsung S10 phone is not restarting properly. it is continously rebooting
JA: How long has this been going on with your S10? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Last night it did a factory reset on its own, which I went through with back up. This morning when it ran out of battery, it was rebooting and rebooting. It gets to the main screen, it asks for the PIN, I enter it, I see my screen normally for few seconds and then switches off and on have tried to Wipe Cache and start in Safe Mode. Does not work
JA: Anything else you want the Phone Expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: No

Hi! My name is ***** ***** I will be assisting you today. Please note that the steps below may not resolve the issue initially but I am happy to assist you further if necessary.

  1. Ensure the device is powered off.
  2. Simultaneously press and hold the Volume up and Bixby buttons.
  3. While continuing to hold Volume up and Bixby, press and hold the Power button until the device vibrates and the Samsung logo appears then release all buttons.
This action boots the device to the Android Recovery screen.
Allow up to 15 seconds for the recovery screen to appear.
  4. From the Android Recovery screen, select Wipe data/factory reset.
Utilize the volume buttons to cycle through the available options and the power button to select.
  5. Select Yes.
Allow several seconds for the factory data reset to complete.

Take your time

Customer: replied 5 days ago.
unfortunately it switched off again on its own after I tried to restore some of my older apps
Customer: replied 5 days ago.
It restarted now but the battery shows 0%. Do you think it may be a battery problem ? the last few days the battery used to die out at 20%+ and very quickly. So had this for a few days, then it did factory reset on its own, then rebooting constantly at start up.
Expert:  Josh replied 5 days ago.

Yes, it could be a battery issue.

Customer: replied 5 days ago.
OK. What do you think I should do ? change the battery and see what happens ?
Expert:  Josh replied 5 days ago.

Yes, that would be the first step or bring it into a local repair shop and they can diagnosis it.
