Can you please remove the power to the device (so unplug it from the power socket).
Then wait 10 minutes, connect the power again to the device, turn it on and tell me please if it is now operating correctly.

Can you check the cables from the console, are they still running to the base?

It is the LCD panel or mainboard in the console that has faulted.
