Hello my canon mg5750 is saying is offline and won’t print...how do I change this
JA: How are you connecting to your printer: wirelessly or by USB?

JA: When did you last update the printer driver software?
Customer: Ah not sure! How do I do that

Your colleague mentioned when did I update my drivers? I’ve never done that

Drivers have nothing to do with the Apple side of things. The way printing is done on a Mac and iOS device is done through a CUPS protocol called AirPrint.

Typically what causes a pause in this service is due to a network disconnection. The third guide I sent you explained this a bit. If you used their app to add the printer back to the network like that guide mentioned and it still didn't work then there has to be something on your network blocking the protocol.

I have on occasion seen that to be the issue that the AirPrint service was blocked by someones protocol just like the AirPlay protocol has been blocked by some of the AirBnb's that I have stayed at. You might want to check with your internet service provider to see if they can flush out anything that could be blocking it.
