JA: How's your Internet connection? Are you checking your email from a browser or a mail client (e.g. Outlook)?
Customer: From a mail client - outlook. My internet connection is usually fine.
JA: Are there any antivirus or firewall settings that could block you from receiving mail?
Customer: I don't think so , and would that explain why only some are not getting through?
JA: Anything else you want the Email Expert to know before I connect you?

Which email service are you using? And are you not receiving from a particular sender?

I am using Outlook.com. I seem to have missed emails from two or three people who I would have expected to get back to me, not just one particular sender. On the other hand, I have received emails from other senders this week.

Go to the gear wheel in the top right in Outlook, then view all outlook settings.

Then rules and check for any rules there

ok,let me know if there are further issues, but as no rules are set, there is nothing on your side blocking the emails.
