My tv is saying viewing card needs to be paired to your sky box
JA: What's the brand and model number of your TV? How old is it?
Customer: It has been working for ages ok
JA: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?
Customer: Menu works fine
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this?
Customer: It just started with this message yesterday
JA: Anything else you want the TV Expert to know before I connect you?

Please turn off the TV and skybox.

Remove the viewing card from the skybox. The viewing card slot is either or front or back panel of the box.

Remove the card. Clean the black magnetic strip of card with a dry soft cloth. Then insert the card back in.

Turn on Tv and sky box and check if it works or not.

It seems that the card is not getting read and would need to be replaced. You will need to contact sky for getting the card replaced or reactivated.
