My printer says Remove the jammed paper in Tray but there is no paper. HOW TO RESET THE MACHINE

Customer: Brother DCP-L 8410 CDW
JA: How long has this been going on with your Brother printer?
Customer: Since three days
JA: When did you last update the Operating System (OS) on the computer or device you're printing from?

I have investigated the information you have provided and it sounds like you have a query relating to a printer which prompts a paper jam. I would suggest first checking if there is any paper that could be causing the printer to detect and prompt this error and to do so, please see the instructions I have attached below to action once the unit has been checked a removed for any paper that could be in the system.

  1. Power the printer off. (Press the power button)
  2. Remove the power cable for 2 - 3 minutes and then proceed to reconnect it.
  3. Power the printer on. (Press the power button)
  4. Lastly, try to print again and let me know the outcome.

  1. Slowly pull the paper out, either from the Rear Tray or from the Paper Output Slot, whichever is easier. 
  2. Open the Rear Cover. 
  3. Pull the paper out slowly. 
  4. Close the Rear Cover.
  5. Reload the paper, and press the RESUME/CANCEL button on the printer.
