When I try to open gmail in my wireless internet connected LG 42LM6700-TA, TV. A login screen pops up with somone elses email address and no way for me to change it to mine.

That has fixed the problem. The video of steps for fixing was different for my LG TV but easy enough to find the "factory reset", in my LG TV settings. Model number was: 42LM6700-TA.
