Since yesterday I cannot access my e-mail using the app on

Since yesterday I cannot access my e-mail using the app on my iPad. There has been no problem at all until Friday 23 May.
It now tells me "password XXXXX" (even though this is entered into the app) and then that "verification is required".
It then takes me to where I enter all the account info again which accesses the webmail.
The same happens the next time I try to access mail via the app.

I have tried removing the yahoo account from the app, re-booting the iPad and re-entering the account but still the same problem.

Is this a fault Yahoo is working on or what???

I'm sorry about the issue. To confirm, you are able to sign in and use your yahoo email at the website right?

Can you click on the website , then sign in your yahoo account if prompted, then click on "Set up your second sign-in verification", then see if it shows "Turn off second sign-in verification" or "Turn on second sign-in verification", etc.?

Have you tried to change your yahoo account and see if it works

Yes I can access webmail using yahoo user name and password.

There is no such prompt on the web page I'm looking at!

Or after signing to your yahoo email at the website
, click on the gear / wheel icon at the upper right corner, then click on Account Info
, then what do you see there? Do you see a page similar like in the image below?

Managed to sort the problem. Nothing to do with your suggestions above. Think you are looking at a very old version of Yahoo software. Found the solution on the bt internet help line (but it is well hidden!)

I'm sorry. That is the new current version of Yahoo because I was looking at my yahoo email address. I think you have BT internet email address (not Yahoo email address like you said previously); that is why it is different. It's been 5 days, but I'm glad you got it working. Next time, please reply back as soon as possible, so I can help further, i.e., I would find another solution. Thank you for the update.
