I understand you can receive e-mails from your hotmail account but can no send e-mails.
Can you clarify what you mean by Hotmail doesnt recognise your account, are you getting a specific error message?
Also can you tell me how your accessing the e-mails being sent to you, is it via your mobile, via webmail or via a program such as outlook?

The message is hotmail does recognise my email address.
Messages received from my iPad and also signed in to hotmail and cannot send messages from there either.

Tried apple help desk and it was they who said the problem was at hotmail.
