Bought a Toshiba TV in August 2012. Last year the screen started "bleeding". Approached the seller, who was not interested as the warranty had expired. The screen frequently displays this "redness" throughout the day, and now there are shadows, and ghostly images; plus there is no colour - just greyness. We have had numerous Toshiba products over the years, but nothing ever like this. I understand there could be a manufacturers warranty which lasts 5 years.
Can you please advise what to do next. We are both pensioners.

Hi, I am A. Stevens here to help with your question!Graham - while the standard manufacturer warranty on this model television is 1 year - you might have some luck contacting Toshiba directly instead of the seller to see if they will still honor the original warranty...I have seen manufacturers make exceptions for units that are in good condition but just have malfunctioned for some reason other than physical damage. No guarantee that they would replace...but would be your best option to try to get TV serviced/replaced. Otherwise I can also try to assist you to locate a similar replacement TV at the lowest price possible...please let me know
