Have changed from 8.1 to 10--now outlook emails, can receive but cannot send. Have checked pop & smtp --all ok. Test message works but still cannot send. Have laptop with 8.1 working fine--how do I fix desktop please
Hi,I'm sorry about the issue. Does it give any error or message? Please try a possible fix below:- Close Outlook program for now, then right-click on the Start button, then click on Command Prompt (Admin), then type sfc /scannow, then press Enter key, then wait until it finish scanning (should take around 30 minutes), then close, then open Outlook and check.Please reply back below to continue troubleshooting. I have resolved the issue via remote support. Also, here are the import instructions for importing your email folders:Open Outlook.On the File menu, click Import And Export.Click Import from another program or file, and then click Next.Click Personal Folder File (.pst), and then click Next.Browse, then select Desktop, then select the item Outlook - Copy..., then click Next.Select the folder that you want to import. (I did most of them, so only import the folders after the folder name "house...".) (Don't import Inbox folder.)Click Finish.If you need help with anything else, please come back any time.
