I am using Microsoft Outlook version 16.0.7167.2040 running under Office Home and Business 2016. For some reason in the last few days the s/w crashes (seems to freeze during send/recieve or synchronisation (I'm on IMAP). I have rebooted several times, but it makes no difference. Can I reinstall/refresh the s/w (without having to rebuy it)

Can you please press on the keyboard the windows key + X and click on control panel.

Then click on Uninstall a program

Click on Office, then change, then repair

Choose to do an online repair

Once completed, restart the computer, and check if it is now working correctly.

I can also do these steps for you, and have made a request via Additional Services. Can you go to

Click on Download in the middle of the page

Download and install the program and give me the ID and Password ***** please so I can connect

Do not close the program but leave it open else I will not be able to connect

Hi Richard,Unfortunately, the problem hasn't been solved. Within a few minutes of starting Outlook I get a message that its not responding (whilst at the bottom of the screen it says that its syncronizing and sending/receiving files - these never complete (have taken a screen shot if that would help).

Hi Richard, I'm not sure what version I have, I think its 2013 (I have a key card with that on but it's possible that it's not the latest one), On the s/w itself there's a version number I gave you earlier - 16.0.7167.2040 does that not tell you?
