JA: Who is your email provider (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, etc.)?
Customer: gmail, I am not computer savvy, and I am a bit desperate
JA: How do you usually access Gmail? On a phone or tablet, or through a web browser?
Customer: All of them, I will try to be clear to explain what happens. Is it ok?
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I’ve been everywhere and always I get to community but my question is too long and the box won’t take it

Customer: I’ve made some changes on my e mail without know what I was doing and now my default e mail is not the one I want and me recovery email has changed as well , I want everything to go back as it was

Today before i log in to my [email protected] account
Google was asking me to make some changes, so i made the changes without knowing what I was doing, so
Now my default e mail is***@******.***
I have added a Gmail to my google account.
I do not want my g mail address and primary as:***@******.***
I would like to go back to:***@******.***
I want to delete***@******.***
I have already a recovery e mail, this one here:***@******.***
I DO NOT want my bussiness e mail:***@******.*** to be my recovery email.
Could you kindly help.

  1. Sign out of Gmail completely.
  2. Open a new browser and log in first to the account you want to be the default.
  3. Log in to your other account(s).
  4. Check you've changed your default by opening Gmail in a new browser. Your default account should appear.
