Thank you for writing back with that information. Unfortunately, since you are using the default and built-in email program of Windows 10 -- called the Mail app, there is an ongoing bug in that email system that stores SENT emails to the Spam folder when you are using Gmail. Please check that out. When you send an email, there is no copy of that Sent email saved in the Sent Items folder because the said copy is saved in the Spam folder.
There is no way that you can change that since it is the folder mapping capability of the Mail app that is faulty or messed up, and there is no setting there that can be changed to fix the problem.
I suggest that you download and install a better email program called Thunderbird. It will be easy to use and this problem is not present in Thunderbird. Here is the link:
