Which internet browser are you doing this in?
Click on the three dots top right in Chrome then settings.
Then go to the bottom and click on Advance.
Then click on reset and clean up
Let the reset complete and when it has, close Chrome, open it again and try to reset it.

Click the gear wheel then manage acounts.
Select the account then delete account
Once done, then choose to add the account again
