My Live account is connected to the mail app on my iPhone

Hi, my Live account is connected to the mail app on my iPhone and my messages won't leave the outbox. This has been happening for about 2 months now. I am able to send emails when I log in online, and am still receiving emails through the apple mail app but cannot send them. How can I fix this please? Thanks

Customer: recently, I could try that again

  1. On your device, go to Settings > Mail, then tap Accounts.
  2. Tap the email account that you want to remove.
  3. Tap Delete Account.
  4. Add your account again.
