Customer Question

I work for a company as a store manager, I am contracted to 45 hours a week, I work at least 47.5 hours a week which I don't get paid extra for over busy periods christmas for example I work up to 55 hours a weeks. I recently had a sick day and was docked the difference under my contracted hours. Can you tell me if this is right or should I be getting paid for the extra hours or paid for sickness ?
