I need some advice about the following: A post is no longer

Customer Question

I need some advice about the following:
A post is no longer required, it has been through the consultation process.
A post is being created with more reonsibility. An internal advert was put in with a closing close of business tomorrow. Three employees have submitted application forms. The fourth applicant will not submit a form. I have heard through the grapevine that Mr X has stated that the job is his and does not need to apply.
Where do I stand?

taratill :

Hello my name is Jenny and I am happy to help you today. I assume you are one of the employees who has applied for the post?

taratill :

If this is the case is it your original role which is being made redundant?
