Employment Lawyers Can Answer Your Employment Law Questions
Hi I have answered this on your follow on question but it is highly unlikely that any civil action would or could be taken against you. You need not worry about this.
Why can't it?
Technically if you have breached your contract by failing in your duty of trust and confidence you could be sued for damages under the contract. This is highly unlikely to happen in practice.
You would also need to be sent a letter before action asking you to pay back the losses prior to a claim being raised.
