Customer Question

I have an employee on suspension (full pay) and have invited her for a meeting on Monday. The charges against her are theft but as she has only been with me for 6 weeks am just looking to dismiss her on a weeks pay rather than gross misconduct. I have received a letter from her mother saying she has had a nervous breakdown and can't attend the meeting. Do I have to now put her "on the sick" and continue proceedings when she is feeling better or continue to pay her full pay on suspension?
