i understand that new regulations come into force in April 2015 re NMW. Will this mean that the rules about on call will change where caravan accommodation is provided and in which we are required to "reside in order to perform his or her duties"and to"enter your name on a rota purpose of being on call todeal with customer enquiries or requests from the end of your shift until next morning also cover the alarm pager and attend the relevant caravan" my huband and I are one of three warden/receptionist couples and are required to be on call together
Ben Jones :

, my name is ***** ***** it is my pleasure to assist you with your question today. The new NMW Regulations do not really change the law in any way, rather they consolidate the existing legislation into one single piece, rather than the 25+ it is scattered across at present. So this is really a 'tidy up' of current laws and placing them all into one single piece of law, it does not actually introduce any changes to the existing laws. So the advice you had so far will remain valid and nothing will change from the introduction of the new laws
